Looking for some great Mafia Wars tips? There are many different ways to play Mafia Wars, but not all of them are as effective or will earn you as much money, experience, or Godfather points. These gamers are the ones with the largest mafias, the most money, and a ton of Godfather points, and they often win every battle against other mafias.

Tip #1 – Not All Characters Are the Same

This may seem obvious, but you do need to put some thought into which of the three character types (Fearless, Maniac, or Mogul) you want to play. The Fearless character regains health more quickly than the other two, while the Maniac regains energy more quickly. The Mogul earns more money. For leveling quickly, players in the know choose the Fearless. While the Maniac will start out faster due to the fact that it regains energy more quickly, the Fearless class can eventually be placed in the mafia’s Wheelman position. This allows them to, every now and then, pay no energy to complete a job. This happens, on average, around three to five times a level. With these free jobs, the Fearless quickly moves ahead of the Maniac in leveling.

Tip #2 – Use Your Skill Points Wisely

You get a small number of skill points each time you level up, but you shouldn’t waste these points. Early on (up to level 200 or so), put all of them into energy. This will help you level your character much more quickly, even Fearless characters. You can put some points into attack and defense, but this will slow down your leveling. However, these two categories should be your main focus when your character hits level 200. Putting points into health isn’t very useful, while you don’t need a lot of stamina until you start fighting with other mafias.

Tip #3 – Buy In Bulk

Every time you buy a property, the cost of the next property goes up. However, if you buy a block of properties at a time (ten at once), you will pay the same price for all ten of them. This can lead to huge savings.

Tip #4 – What Gives the Best Return?

When it comes to doing jobs, do the ones that give you the best return on your investment. A job that requires 25 energy but rewards you with 50 experience points should be done ahead of a job that requires five energy but only rewards seven experience points.

Tip #5 – Lend a Helping Hand

You can earn a lot of experience and money simply by helping out your mafia members. In fact, if you’ve recruited a lot of other players into your mafia, you may be able to make up to 100 points in an hour just be helping them complete missions and battles.

Tip #6 – Never Stop Recruiting

While you can only have 500 mafia members help you in any given battle, the more members you have, the more income you generate from Mafia Mike’s. Remember you can own one Mafia Mike’s for every two mafia members, so be sure to always have the maximum number of them.
